Two hundred forty-one years ago, our nation’s leaders established America’s Continental Army. Please join the USPTO Military Association (UMA) as it celebrates that seminal event Wednesday, June 14, from noon to 1 p.m. in Randolph 8D44. The program will include a short inspirational video, followed by a cake cutting and refreshments.
The event will celebrate the contributions of Army veterans who work at the USPTO. This birthday commemorates America’s Army that is achieving a level of excellence that is truly Army Strong. Being Army Strong goes beyond physical endurance and mental preparedness. It encompasses an indomitable spirit, and high ethical and moral values. These are not only desirable traits in a person, but in a nation that aspires to live up to the ideals and vision of its founders.

The mission of the UMA is to provide fellowship, mentorship, and advocacy for military veterans working at the USPTO, and to help educate others on the important contributions that veterans have made – and continue to make – to the workforce and our nation. Membership is open to all USPTO employees.
