Thanks to everyone who came out to meet author, historian and combat veteran Gary Schreckengost. Gary is a retired Army infantry major and a veteran of operations in Bosnia and Iraq. He is currently working on a book about General Bonner Fellers, the American who not only witnessed the most combat in WWII, but who was behind the scenes with winning a just and lasting peace with Japan as documented in the movie, “Emperor.”
