As Veterans Day approaches, we want to highlight one of our newest UMA members, Jordan, who was featured in the Veterans Day issue of Homeland Magazine.
Jordan taught English in China before serving in the Air Force as a Spanish linguist, flight attendant, and finally in the Defense Attaché Office. His military assignments took him from Texas and Nebraska to Afghanistan, Uganda, and Tunisia.
Thanks to the DoD Skillbridge program, Jordan was able to transition from Air Force service to the USPTO, where he now serves as an International Patent Administrative Specialist, a role that allows him to leverage his military skills while enjoying a new mission and work-life balance.
